Streets of Rage 4 DLC Listing Appears in SteamDB

A SteamDB listing popped up for Streets of Rage 4 DLC. Dotemu, Guard Crush, and Lizardcube haven’t announced any add-ons yet, but it seems like something connected to an iconic villain in the series could be coming to the beat’em up. [Thanks, Mikesaintjules on Reddit!]

The Streets of Rage 4 DLC listing says Mr. X Nightmare could be heading to the game. The SteamDB page noted it was update on March 23, 2021. No images for the add-on were shared.

As for the “Mr. X” part of the name, Mr. X and his syndicate were the bad guys in the original three Streets of Rage games. His two children, Mr. Y and Ms. Y, head up Y Syndicate in Streets of Rage 4.

There is currently no Streets of Rage 4 DLC available. However, Lizardcube did note in 2020 that add-ons were on the way. The develop also offered updates since its 2020 debut. For example, there was a big rebalancing patch shared back in September 2020.

Streets of Rage 4 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
