Capcom has released details regarding the day one patch for Monster Hunter Rise. This includes the size of the patch, and what the day one patch will implement for players. The day one patch will allow access to content from the deluxe version of the game and from amiibo as well. Additionally, this patch will fix various bugs in Monster Hunter Rise. Capcom mentions that users will need to make sure that they have enough space on their Nintendo Switch for the patch. The day one patch for Monster Hunter Rise is roughly 600MB, with the digital release of the game around 8GB. Access to the internet is required to download the day one patch.
Additionally, the post outlines that those without internet will still have access to local multiplayer. However, every player must have the same version software if they would like to engage in local co-op. Those who you would like to play online with also need to have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
Monster Hunter Rise will release on March 26, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch. A PC release is planned for sometime in early 2022.
