New Red Candle Games Title Gameplay Clip Shared

Red Candle Games shared a brief video of its new game. The clip, which is only 12 seconds long, suggests the developer could be moving away from horror for its next title. Instead, we get a brief glimpse of a 2D title in which two warriors are about to fight.

Here’s the full tease of the new title. The clip is set in what appears to be a somewhat futuristic ruin with some Asian influences in its design. A warrior in a yellow coat is standing and watching as their foe leaps out of some water. The two then dash toward each other, ready to attack.

This is the second recent major announcement from Red Candle Games in March 2021. The first involved the launch of the developer’s e-Shop. The storefront includes DRM-free copies of both Devotion and Detention, its two horror games. This came after a brief period of time where it looked like GOG would sell Devotion. It backed out, which led to Red Candle Games committing to find a way to offer people a way to buy Devotion.

The new game is in development. However, the studio didn’t reveal its name or which platforms it might appear on when it releases.
