Capcom shared a new Monster Hunter Rise trailer, and this one focuses on the new Rampage element. As explained during the Monster Hunter Digital Event in March 2021, this mode adds tower defense elements to the game. To help people better understand how it works, the video shows exactly how active gameplay can get due to monsters storming this entry’s hub.
Rampage quests involve protecting Kamura. Your goal is to keep the village safe by essentially setting up towers. Allies from Kamura Village also appear to provide backups. Your hunter will be able to fight as well. So as the hordes of monsters attack the town, led by Apexes and stronger than usual monsters, you have to rely on the defenses you built and yourself.
What’s handy is this Monster Hunter Rise Rampage trailer also makes sure you know which monster you’re seeing. Before the “Rampage” begins, it shows brief shots of each monster in action with their names. That way, you’ll be able to spot them all when the hordes come in.
Monster Hunter Rise will come to the Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021. In addition to the game, deluxe edition, and amiibo, there will be other items. For example, there is a special Switch and controller.
