No More Heroes Physical Editions

No More Heroes 1 & 2 Switch Physical Editions Open Next Week

Limited Run Games announced that it will produce physical editions of No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle for the Nintendo Switch. People will be able to pre-order both games beginning March 12, 2021 at 7am PT/10am ET. Standard Editions of each game will be sold separately for $34.99. Each game will come with a physical cartridge, a case with interior art, and a full-color booklet.

Limited Run Games will also producing  Collector’s Editions for the games, which will be available at $69.99 apiece. The No More Heroes Collector’s Edition will feature a Deluxe Box, a soundtrack CD, a poster, a Steel Book case, a behind-the-scenes interview, and an art book. The Collector’s Edition for No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle will contain variants of the same items that are specific to the sequel. The Deluxe Boxes are designed to connect to one another, for customers who own both.


A fifth option, called the No More Heroes Santa Destroy Bundle, packages both Collector’s Editions together for $139.99. Customers will also receive a limited edition Santa Destroy Flag with the Santa Destroy Bundle.

No More Heroes director, Goichi “Suda51” Suda, recently revealed a few members of the English cast for No More Heroes 3. Some of the voice actors mentioned include Robin Atkin Downes, Paula Tiso, and Mark Allan Stewart. Downes and Tiso were cast to reprise the roles of Travis Touchdown and Sylvia Christel, respectively. Meanwhile, Stewart was cast to play Henry Cooldown, who was played by Quinton Flynn in previous games.

No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle are immediately available on the Nintendo Switch. The first game can also be played on the PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, and through Amazon Luna. Pre-orders for the Limited Run versions of the game end on April 11, 2021 at 11:59 ET.
