Scarlet Nexus OSF Duties Explained by the Developers

Another Scarlet Nexus developer diary appeared, and this one involves the OSF itself. The Other Suppression Force is the group both protagonists are affiliated with in the game. Producer Keita Iizuka, Director Kenji Anabuki, and Art Director Kouta Ochiai go over the well-established group’s role and ability.

Every year, new people join the OSF. Iizuka pointed out that, at the start of the game, it’s the 567th recruitment. In some of the early Scarlet Nexus footage, we see Yuito Sumeragi as he’s just getting started with the OSF. All members have supernatural abilities and are capable of connecting to each other. Anabuki again pointed out again that younger brains are more powerful, so all members’ aging is halted. It is also possible for multiple people to have the same power, though each person only has one ability.

There are also different groups within the OSF. Anabuki introduced the Septentrion. These are the seven elite agents with notable powers. People might try to work their way up the ranks into the group.
