The Caligula Effect 2 Switch and PS4 Will Head Westward in Fall

The latest entry in the now The Caligula Effect series will appear outside Japan. NIS America announced it will handle The Caligula Effect 2 Switch and PS4 English versions. Folks will be able to find it digitally and physically in Fall 2021.

Like the original game, The Caligula Effect 2 is set in another world. Most people don’t realize it and are happy to be there. Those who do remember who they are and want to go home are fighting back. Members of the Go-Home Club face off against Regret, the virtual idol in charge of Redo, and her Obbligato Musician defenders. It most recently appeared during the Japanese February 2021 Nintendo Direct.

NIS America already opened pre-orders for The Caligula Effect 2 Switch and PS4 limited editions. These are $99.99 and only available through the company’s storefront.  You get the game, both digital and physical copies of Regret and x Vocal Collection, and items suggesting you’re a Tatefushi Academy student in Redo. You have your own ID, with two variants included, and a copy of the high school’s backpack.

The Caligula Effect 2 Switch and PS4 copies will appear in Japan on June 24, 2021 and worldwide in Fall 2021. NIS America also handled The Caligula Effect: Overdose, the updated version of the original game, outside of Japan.
