More Demon Slayer fashion items will appear in Japan. Following the Anna Sui and Uniqlo shirts and bags inspired by the famous franchise, Revolve will add Shemagh scarves with designs based on Demon Slayer characters in a new collection. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
Shemagh is a square scarf that originated in the Middle East, but has also become popular as a fashion accessory in Japan. In addition to being used as a scarf or headdress, it can also be used as a blanket or even worn like a Japanese Haori jacket.
This collection comprises a total of eight designs inspired by Demon Slayer‘s Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Kanao Tsuyuri, Aoi Kanzaki, Tamayo & Yushiro, and the Demon Slayer Corps. The square scarves will be made of polyester and rayon and sized at 110 cm (~43.3 inches).
Pre-orders for these Demon Slayer scarves are available in limited numbers on the Animate Online Shop until March 8, 2021. Each scarf is individually priced at 4,950 yen (~$47). However, the pre-order period may end sooner if the initial stock sells out.
2021 will be another big year for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, as the anime’s second season is set to start airing within the year. A video game titled Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan will also release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2021.
