Naomi Randall Uses Her Powers to Set Traps in Scarlet Nexus

Bandai Namco detailed another Scarlet Nexus supporting cast member’s special abilities. Each member of the Other Suppression Force has supernatural powers that help them protect New Himuka from the Others. When we first heard about the Scarlet Nexus heroine Naomi Randall, we only learned about her relationship to another character. Now, we know her ability lets her see the future.

The announcement didn’t explain exactly how strong Naomi’s precognitive abilities are. Rather, it explained how she uses it in a fight. When employed, she could see where an Other might go or what they might do. She then acts by setting a trap to take advantage of where they will be. The initial screenshots only offer a better look at this ally and don’t show how Kasane Randall or Yuito Sumeragi might use precognition alongside their own skills if they borrow the ability.

This is also another situation where the “halted aging” is rather visible. While Naomi is Scarlet Nexus protagonist Kasane Randall’s older sister, she is shorter than her and might look a bit younger than her in her screenshots. This is because all OSF members’ aging is halted to ensure their brains remain at a certain point that will enhance their superpowers.

Scarlet Nexus is in development for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. It will appear in Fall 2021, and pre-orders are now open.
