The illustration featuring Venti has been used before. It was originally revealed when MiHoYo released another YouTube video showcasing more of the soundtrack for the game. Additionally, the image featuring the Traveler pair has been used for promotional material for the game in the past. Recently, Genshin Impact introduced an event showcasing another Liyue resident outside of the loveable jiangshi QiQi. This event, The Lantern Rite, stars Xiao the Yaksha. For a limited period of time players will be able to gather materials and create lanterns for the event. Doing so will net them various rewards. Additionally, Xiao has been added to the pool of characters through a limited time banner. However, once his banner goes away players will need to wait for him to cycle back in order to obtain him.

Genshin Impact is immediately available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and both Android and Apple iOS devices. It will also come to the Nintendo Switch.
