Yet another Genshin Impact event is here, and this one involves encouraging creativity again. People won’t have to go in-game to participate in the Genshin Impact Year of the Ox activities, as it’s another fan art event. People who participate and make greeting cards will have a chance of getting Acquaint Fates. Though, even people who show up to comment could also have a chance of getting free pulls on the gacha banners.
Here’s how it works. People who visit miHoYo’s event page can share Genshin Impact-related art on a Year of the Ox greeting card. 100 of the people who submitted fan art will get five Acquaint Fates in their account. For those who aren’t artistically inclined, 100 people who comment on the post will get one Acquaint Fate. People have until February 17, 2021 to apply, and all the winners will be revealed on February 19, 2021.
As a reminder, Acquaint Fates are the items you can use on certain Genshin Impact banners. While you can’t use them on any event wishes, like the Xiao and Keqing banners or weapon banners available in February 2021, they can always be used on Wanderlust Invocation. Or, if someone is new to the game, they could spend them on the Beginner’s Wish Noelle banner.
Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile devices. A Nintendo Switch version is on the way. The Genshin Impact Year of the Ox event will run until February 17, 2021.
