We finally have a better idea of the new Cris Tales release date. The time-bending RPG will appear in July 2021 worldwide. This comes after a delay pushed it out of November 2020 and into 2021. An exact date isn’t available yet, but it will appear on all consoles, PC storefronts, and Google Stadia that month.
To go along with the announcement, there’s a new update from the developer and trailer. The blog post offers a general idea of what to expect, in case people didn’t play the demo. Crisbell is a time mage, which will influence battles and how you interact with the world. You might dip into the past or future to alter other periods and solve puzzles, for example.
As for the trailer, it looks at the world, its towns, the different time periods, fights, and the decisions you might make. It also shows at the end how your actions can alter how a place looks or the way the game goes.
Cris Tales will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia in July 2021. Physical pre-orders include a poster. The Collector’s Edition includes a stuffed Matias the frog.
