Steins;Gate Kurisu Makise’s Glasses Will Be Sold In Real Life

Although the item is being marketed as Headphone Glasses, it doesn’t actually feature an internal speaker like the Gundam Smart Audio Glasses. What the Kurisu glasses have instead are comfortable cushions on the handles that will reduce pressure on your head when wearing headphones or a mask. The right inner handle also has an etching of Kurisu’s signature “Kaiba-” kaomoji emoticon.

A full set where the glasses come with a Steins;Gate-marked case and a cleaning cloth is available at 9,900 yen (~$95). There are two available designs for the cloth: one with Kurisu by herself and the other with more Steins Gate characters accompanying her, such as Mayuri Shiina and Faris NyanNyan.

The glasses can also be purchased individually with a price tag of 8,250 yen (~$79). The cloths can also be purchased separately, but they must be bought with another case for 1,650 yen (~$16).

The latest title in the Steins;Gate series is Steins;Gate: My Darling’s Embrace, which is immediately available worldwide on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
