The Uncharted movie release date got pushed back yet again. This time, the delay is sending it into another year. As pointed out by Geoff Keighley on Twitter, the film will now appear in theaters on February 11, 2022.
The movie faced multiple delays over the years. It also went through different directors and staff members. Filming for it finally started in July 2020, following some COVID-19 pandemic-related delays. Photographs from the set appeared in October 2020. These showed what Tom Holland looked like as a (young) Nathan Drake for the first time. The full film will also have Mark Wahlberg playing Sully and Sophia Taylor Ali as Chloe Frazer.
In terms of games, there are plenty of ways to play through Nate’s adventures. Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception are available on the PlayStation 3. They are also on the PlayStation 4 as Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy are on the PS4. Uncharted: Golden Abyss is available on the PlayStation Vita.
The Uncharted movie release date is now February 11, 2022. Prior to this most recent delay, it was expected to appear on July 16, 2021.
