Genshin Impact Marvelous Merchandise Boxes Return This Weekend

A relatively easy and rewarding event will return to Genshin Impact this weekend. People will soon be able to exchange items for boxes again on January 23, 2021. miHoYo said Liben will be returning to offer people Boxes of Marvels during Marvelous Merchandise.

It seems like the event will be a little different this time around, even though the name is the same. Liben is still the merchant doling out boxes, and you’ll still have to give him certain amounts of items you’ll find while exploring to “buy” boxes from him. In the first event, Liben asked for common items like berries, mushrooms, pinecones, and sunsettias, and you could get seven boxes total with rewards like Hero’s Wit and Primogems if you found him around Mondstadt and Liyue.

This time, miHoYo’s description suggests Liben will remain in one region, Mondstadt. It also pointed out that, while he will again offer seven boxes total, people can get a Mega Box O’ Marvels for showing up five days in a row. However, the wording also seems to suggest that people will still be able to get one standard box per day.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and both Android and Apple iOS devices. It will show up on the Nintendo Switch in the future too. The Marvelous Merchandise Boxes of Marvels will be available January 23-30, 2021.
