Sonic Drops Into Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Today

There’s more to do in Puyo Puyo Tetris 2. Sega added a chain of new content via its January 14, 2021 update. There are four new characters, with the Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Sonic the Hedgehog cameo leading the new roster additions. There’s also a Boss Raid that lets people play cooperatively against a common enemy.

Of the new Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 characters, three are ones who have been a part of the Puyo Puyo series for years. Lidelle, Ms. Accord, and The Ocean Prince will all appear in the roster once someone updates the game. There will also be 20 avatars added, which will include Sonic series characters like Amy Rose, Dr. Eggman, Shadow, and Tails and additional Puyo Puyo people.

As for the Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Boss Raid, people can play online on all platforms (or offline locally on the Switch) to fight one or more AI bosses with up to four people. Each boss has its own abilities, and your goal is to play both Puyo Puyo and Tetris well enough to send garbage to your common foe to lower their health. You can change the difficulty, with better Item Cards offered if you’re willing to challenge yourself.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. It will also come to the PC. the Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Sonic the Hedgehog, Ms. Accord, Lidelle, Ocean Prince, and Boss Raid update will arrive on January 14, 2021.
