Another mobile game will get a Persona crossover. This time, it’s an AFK Arena Persona 5 collaborative event. The dates for it haven’t been set, but Lilith Games announced on Facebook and Twitter that both Joker and Makoto “Queen” Niijima will be the playable characters appearing in the game.
When both characters appear, they will have their initial Personas from the game with them. So Joker will be paired with Arsene and Queen will have Johanna. The AFK Arena designs for the Persona 5 characters were also shared.
For those who haven’t played it, AFK Arena is an idle RPG. You set a group of five characters to act as your party, start a battle against a group of opponents, then go do other things while your characters fight. After Joker and Queen are added, they’ll be among the units you can select for your group.
There have been quite a few Persona 5 crossovers with mobile games. For example, Identity V ended up hosting an event. When it came to the RPG Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space, there were actually two events. One involved Joker and Morgana, and another pulled from Persona 5 Royal to add Skull and Violet.
AFK Arena is available on Android and Apple iOS devices. The AFK Arena Persona 5 event is on the way.
