After the announcement of Pikkon as the next new playable character for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Bandai Namco has followed up with new screenshots and details for Update 12. [Thanks, 4Gamer.]
The main addition to the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 title Update 12 is Pikkon, the strongest soldier from the West Galaxy. Fans might remember Pikkon from his intense battle against Goku in the Other World Tournament. He also made a big appearance in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn.
In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Pikkon will have various rush attacks and energy blast attacks, as expected from the martial artist. The details didn’t specify what his moves will be, but we can clearly see Pikkon charging his signature Thunder Flash Attack on the top image.
Update 12 will also add costumes inspired by Goku’s parents, Bardock and Gine, based on their Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie appearances.
The main antagonist Janemba, from Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn, will also appear in CC Mascot form for Update 12.
Lastly, Bandai Namco announced that a seven-day World Tournament will take place starting December 21, 2020. The tournament will commemorate the 7 million units shipped worldwide. Participants will receive rewards like World Tournament Tracksuits through December 27, 2020.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2Â is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PCÂ via Steam. Update 12 will arrive in Spring 2021.
