NIS America is looking for people with both PCs and some free time on their hands. It has opened up applications for its Saviors of Sapphire Wings & Stranger of Sword City Revisited beta. The former is a localization of Azure-Winged Chevalier, the Students of the Round remake, while the latter is an updated version of the PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC game. People have until December 12, 2020 to apply to put these two first-person dungeon-crawlers with turn-based battles through their paces.
The application is fairly standard. People have to provide their name, Steam username, date of birth, explain their languages, and let NIS America know about their OS and computer specs. It also asks why people want to take part in the Saviors of Sapphire Wings & Stranger of Sword City Revisited beta. The company also alerts people that they will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement if they become a beta tester.
Stranger of Sword City is a game we’ve seen quite a few times before. While the original Xbox 360 version wasn’t released outside of Japan, the PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, and PC versions all appeared worldwide. As for Saviors of Sapphire Wings, this is the first time it will ever appear outside of Japan.
Saviors of Sapphire Wings & Stranger of Sword City Revisited will come to Nintendo Switch and PC on March 16, 2021 in North America, on March 19, 2021 in Europe, and on March 23, 2021 in Australia. The limited edition will come with an art book, pin, and soundtrack. People have until December 12, 2020 to apply for the Saviors of Sapphire Wings & Stranger of Sword City Revisited beta on PCs.
