Sega and Ryu ga Gotoku Studio revealed a new set of Yakuza series cologne during the 15th anniversary live stream. This time, the fragrances will come in Kazuma Kiryu and Ichiban Kasuga options.
The new Yakuza colognes are made in collaboration with fragrance company Fits Corporation. Pre-orders are now live on Yodobashi, and the colognes will be released on December 28, 2020, for 3,300 yen each.
The Kazuma Kiryu Eau de Toilette is based on the cool, yet profoundly empathetic, image of the Yakuza protagonist. To make it as “Kiryu” as possible, this fragrance has a subtle fruity freshness within the musky depth.
Next, we have the Ichiban Kasuga Eau de Toilette. The cologne is based on the new protagonist from Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Yakuza Online. This fragrance was made with Kasuga’s cheerful and stubborn personality in mind. It is mostly sweet and fresh, with a mix of berries and greens.
Both the Kiryu and Kasuga colognes will be available at shops starting December 28, 2020. Moreover, a Don Quijote-exclusive set with both Yakuza colognes will also be available to pre-order for 6,000 yen. The set also includes a special 15th-anniversary atomizer to go with a special package for the set. Pre-orders for the set will go live via Don Quijote on December 9, 2020, at 10:00 am JST. It will also be available to purchase at the Don Quijote stores starting December 28, 2020.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. It will arrive on the PlayStation 5 worldwide on March 2, 2021.
