FFXIV Shadowbringers 5.4 Preliminary Patch Notes Break Down Changes

With Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers 5.4 patch arriving rather soon, the official Lodestone website released the preliminary patch notes. These patch notes detail upcoming adjustments to Triple Triad and feature images of new accessories, mounts, and other miscellaneous items that will be added with the update.

Alongside the addition of the Eden’s Promise raids and the inclusion of the much awaited Emerald Weapon, patch 5.4 will have a little bit of something for everyone. Players will have access to more furniture items, some of which include designs that won in the 2017 and 2019 furniture design contest. In addition, more types of fish for aquariums will be added alongside this update as well.

More poses will be added to the /changepose emote, adding a bit more variety to the way your player avatar can idle or respond. New mounts, minions, and accessories will debut with the Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers 5.4 patch, as detailed through the preliminary patch notes. Square Enix previously shared screenshots of new gear that will be available when Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers 5.4 patch goes live. These included a look at gear that will be available through crafting and through tomestone exchange. Recipes for crated items will be added to the preliminary patch page at a later date.

Changes will be made to Gangos, with Resistance Appraisers and Resistance locksmiths being added to this particular location. Additionally, players will now have access to the Mimic Lost Action in the Bozjan Southern Front.

Final Fantasy XIVĀ is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Patch 5.4 will arrive on December 8, 2020.
