The Genshin Impact Zhongli banner is about to begin, and we now know important details about when it will run and who will be available via it. MiHoYo revealed the Gentry of Hermitage Event Wish will be in effect between December 1-22, 2020, with Zhongli as the event-exclusive character. He’ll be joined by not one, not two, but three four-star claymore-wielders.

One of the new characters is a fairly obvious inclusion. Xinyan, a Pyro heroine, will be added. She’ll be joined by two existing characters, the Electro-user Razor and the Cryo-user Chongyun. After this event banner ends, all three will be available through any banner at any time.

As mentioned before, Zhongli is a five-star Geo character who wields a polearm. He’ll be available in the quest and a new Historia Antiqua Chapter will be added on the day the banner launches. To see his story, you need to do a few things. First, you need to reach Adventure Rank 40. Then, you must also have collected a Story Key and went through the Chapter I: Act III quest where Zhongli plays a huge part. After that, you can go through this story whenever you’d like.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and both Android and Apple iOS devices. A Nintendo Switch version is on the way. The Genshin Impact Zhongli banner will run from December 1-22, 2020. The Childe banner will end December 1, 2020.
