Back in July 2020, Bandai Namco announced Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker Season Pass 3, showing the 2018 fighting game was still kicking. Now, there’s another reason to consider heading back, because the company announced a new character on Twitter. Prepare for the Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker Shisui Uchiha debut.
If you’re one of the people who only went through early chapters or episodes of Naruto, you might not recognize Shisui. That’s because the character was a critical member of the Uchiha Clan in later arcs and an influential figure in Itachi Uchiha’s life. (The two were best friends.) He has appeared in past Naruto games, like Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.)
The Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker Shisui announcement was paired with three screenshots. Appropriately enough, one of them Itachi in it.
Other DLC Master Characters who have appeared in the game in 2020 include Double Sharigan Kakashi, Mei Terumi, Might Guy, Naruto (BORUTO), and Neji. The $14.99 Season Pass 3 includes Double Sharigan Kakashi and four yet-to-be revealed characters.
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker Shisui Uchiha is on the way, but there’s no release date for him yet.
