While the article itself primarily focuses on the development of the PlayStation 5 and the history of the various generations of consoles, it also dives into what kept the PlayStation as successful as it has been. The article states that “Sony attributes much of its success over the last console generation to the popularity of its exclusive game franchises.”

This has included longstanding series like God of War. Ghost of Tsushima was also mentioned due to its significantly high sales numbers as a PlayStation exclusive.

Since its release, Ghost of Tsushima has added a new gameplay mode and various quality of life improvements. The Ghost of Tsushima Legends update features a new co-op mode where players can take on deadly, otherworldly adversaries. Players can pick from one of four heroes and traverse the world with a set of unique skills and abilities.

Other updates have included the implementation of a dog charm item. This charm will allow players to recruit dogs to join them in their quest. And yes, you can pet the dog.

Ghost of Tsushima and its Legends update are available now for the PlayStation 4.
