Ready to get some Experience? NIS America dated two of its upcoming dungeon-crawlers from the developer. Make some room in March, because Saviors of Sapphire Wings & Stranger of Sword City Revisited will show up on both the Nintendo Switch and PC outside Japan then. North America will get it first on March 16, 2021. Then, Europe will get it on March 19, 2021. Finally, people in Australia will head into dungeons on March 23, 2021. Which, in the case of Saviors of Sapphire Wings, will be about 11 years after its Japanese PC debut in April 2010.
Accompanying the reveal is another announcement trailer. This one looks at gameplay in both RPGs. Which should look familiar, even with Saviors of Sapphire Wings being new to people outside Japan, as they follow the Experience formula of letting people create characters for a party, head out to explore dungeons from a first-person perspective, and fight in turn-based battles against groups of intimidating enemies. The video begins with a look at Saviros of Sapphire Wings, which is entirely new to people outside of Japan, then dedicates the last fourth of the video to revisiting Stranger of Sword City Revisited, which we’ve seen before.
Saviors of Sapphire Wings & Stranger of Sword City Revisited will appear on the Nintendo Switch and PC in North America on March 16, 2021, Europe on March 19, 2021, and Australia on March 23, 2021.
