Kotobukiya announced a reproduction is on the way for the Fate/Grand Order Saber Alter figure. Preorders for the highly sought after model will take place on Kotobukiya’s official site. Preorders start on November 10, 2020 (JST) and will cost 11,000 yen (not including tax and shipping).
The figure, featuring an alternate design of Saber in regular clothes, originally went on sale in November 2018. Now that a reproduction order has been announced, fans gawking at aftermarket prices finally have a chance to pick the model up for a fairer price.
The Saber Alter figure, also known by her name Artoria Pendragon, is a 1/7 scale model. Standing tall at 240mm including the base, the figure is a finished product made of PVC. Type-Moon highlights Saber’s strong-willed expression and feminine design—particularly her short shorts. The company says her alternate depiction shows off a different side of her than her usual, armored look.
Fate/Grand Order is a massive series that can be daunting for newcomers. However, those looking to try some related media out should consider the upcoming Camelot movie. Recently, it received an exciting new trailer in October 2020.
