Check out the full live stream that included footage from the Surge Concerto DX remasters below.

The gameplay footage for Ciel nosurge DX begins at the 50:07 mark of the video. It shows the starting part of the game, where the player visits Ion to chitchat. Ion says that there’s something she’s been meaning to try, and that’s a little game about feeling sensations. It’s essentially a tutorial on how you’ll communicate with Ion. The original game on the PS Vita uses touch screen functions, but we recently learned that the remasters won’t have touch support.

Gameplay footage for Ar nosurge DX starts at the 58:32 mark of the video. The footage shows how the game starts, where you first meet Ion, short for Ionasal.kkll.Preciel. Since Ion has lost her memories, she’ll need your help in retrieving them.

Lastly, here’s the first trailer for the Surge Concerto DX games:

Ciel nosurge DX and Ar nosurge DX will release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in Japan on January 28, 2021. A high-end limited edition version will go for over $1,000 in Japan.
