In White Day VR, you’re returning to the same unsettling school you were trapped inside of during the original White Day: A Labyrinth Named School. This time, you’re there voluntarily, as you’re taking on an escape room challenge being held in Classroom 1.1 so you can join the school’s Occult Club. You’re also not alone, as a club member named Da-Hee Kim is joining you. After a brief tutorial, you will have to as you race to find 15 items in five minutes. Depending on what you do, you might earn different endings.

Here’s the trailer.

And here are some screenshots.

What’s interesting is that White Day VR: The Courage Test first appeared in South Korea as  an amusement park attraction. The official English website for it is even still open. The tutorial and Da-Hee Kim appeared in the game to help make it easier for attendees, since it wouldn’t require as many staff to man the VR experience.

White Day VR: The Courage Test will come to PCs for HTC Vive headsets on October 30, 2020.
