The official Genshin Impact Japanese Twitter released more information about the upcoming 1.1 update. This included information about an increase in resin. Players can expect to see their “natural” Genshin Impact resin limit increase from 120 to 160 as one of the additions. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
In addition, other quality of life features will be added to Genshin Impact with this update. A new type of item will appear that will allow for players to create customizable waypoints. This item will be entirely free, so players will be able to make use of it whenever and however they wish. Apparently, changes will also be made to help make the equipment system easier to understand as well.
Another change to the Genshin Impact resin system will be implemented with this update to complement the increase. The amount of resin required to complete weekly challenges has been reduced from 1,600 to 1,200. That will save players 400 resin, which could be used to do things like farm ascension materials or accessories.
As for other updates, there is a new quest in the game involving Mona, however, players will only be able to accept it after reaching Adventure Rank 38 and by fulfilling other prerequisites.
Genshin Impact is immediately available on the PlayStation 4, PC, Android, and iOS devices, with an eventual release planned for the Nintendo Switch. The 1.1 update is in the works and should arrive in mid-November 2020.
