Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story just took an important step toward offering people a means of preserving memories of the mobile game. The Magia Record gallery update is live. Should people get version 1.2.0 of the app and download video data by October 30, 2020, they’ll still be able to see all the characters after October 31, 2020.

Back in August 2020, Aniplex announced it would be shutting down the English version of the game. However, it then offered a stay of execution as it prepared a Gallery Mode that would allow people to still see all of the Magia Record characters they had collected after the end. While people waited and to help them make the most of their final days, it offered ten daily Fate Weave Tickets to all players.

As for the gallery itself, you need to download the update and then open the game. Once you do, you will need to download video data from the Video Settings section under Settings and Manage Data. This will let you then see the characters and their Magical Girl transformations in the Magia Record gallery even after the game ends this month.

Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story is currently available on Android and Apple iOS devices worldwide. However, the English version of the game will be closed at 11:59pm PT on October 30, 2020 and shift to an offline Gallery for people who downloaded version 1.2.0 before that cut-off point.
