The Great Oni and the Kamuy’s Gold,”  the Halloween 2020 event will go live on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 01:00 AM PT. That leaves a less than 24 hours until launch, at the time of this writing.

Oniland was previously teased as taking place in “Mid-October,” with the date kept vague to allow players more time to catch up with the main story. That’s because starting here, more events in Fate/Grand Order will require up-to-date story completion to participate. To assist, the game also reduced the AP requirements for launching main story quests to half for Cosmos in the Lostbelt and one-quarter for Part 1, a promotion that will continue until October 24, 2020.

Aniplex has dropped more details about Oniland as well, including new previews of the Servants and summoning banners relevant to the event. As previously announced, every participant will gain a playable 4-Star Caster-class Servant, the “Magifender Girl” Shuten-Douji. Masters of Chaldea will join up with the famed demon ruler of Onigashima to investigate a mysterious theme park that sprung up on Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido, and upon completion of the story, Shuten-Douji will become a permanent addition to the roster.

Players with Saint Quartz to spare or a love for fluffy polar bears can also opt to roll on the Fate/Grand Order Halloween 2020 summoning banner. The banner adds a new 5-Star Alter Ego Servant, Sitonai. She’s based on a fusion of Fate alumnus Ilyasviel von Einzbern and several figures from the legends of Japan’s Ainu indigenous peoples.

The Fate/Grand Order Oniland event opens on October 19, 2020, and will run until November 1, 2020. The game is immediately available on iOS and Android.
