Earlier in October 2020, Digimon Survive Producer Kazumasa Habu suggested that the game could end up being delayed. He noted there was a review of its development that could alter the timeline. Now, Bandai Namco confirmed a Digimon Survive delay that will push the game into 2021.
The updated notes suggested that this might be a game that will appear later in 2021. With the new statement from Habu, it noted that the next development update will be shared in Spring 2021. “These difficult times,” i.e. the COVID-19 pandemic, was cited as part of the cause for the delay.
Here is Habu’s full Digimon Survive delay announcement.
