Koei Tecmo was aiming for a near-simultaneous, worldwide Atelier Ryza 2 release date, but it won’t exactly make that. The game will appear in North America on January 26, 2021, the same day the PC version of the game will come to Steam in Japan. The Atelier Ryza 2 European Limited Edition pre-order page offers a January 29, 2021 release date for that region. This means the Atelier Ryza 2 English version will arrive over a month after its December 3, 2020 Japanese debut. Also, the PS4 version will allow people to upgrade to the PS5 version for free.
Koei Tecmo also brought up various pre-order incentives, DLC bonuses, and a Limited Edition. Pre-orders at certain stores will include two costumes for Ryza. They’ll give her “Beware of Puni!” and “Blue Puni Costume” oversized t-shirts. All people who buy the game at launch will get a Summer Fashion Costume Set code with outfits for Ryza and her allies.
Here are those Atelier Ryza 2 Summer Costume Set outfits.
And here are the Puni pre-order shirts.
As for the Atelier Ryza 2 Limited Editions, they are identical for North America and Europe. It is $119.99 for the Switch version in North America and £79.99 for the Switch or PS4 version in Europe. These are identical to Japan’s Premium Box and give people the game, a B2 cloth poster, a Key to the Ruins File & Character File set, the Tao’s Research Notebook art book, a Ryza acrylic charm, and the Sonnet of Dawn Ryza costume.
The Atelier Ryza 2 release date is December 3, 2020 in Japan for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. On January 26, 2021, it will be available on consoles in North America and on the PC worldwide. On January 29, 2020, it will be available in Europe.
