PlayStation Game Library Curates Your PS4 and PS5 Games

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Sony has a new website to help you keep track of your game collection, but there are some limitations. The PlayStation Game Library website is now open. It lets you sort through all of the PS4 and PS5 games you own, as well as sort them out according to whether or not you have them as part of a subscription service. PSOne Classics, PS2 Classics, PS3 games, PSP games, and Vita games are all absent from the catalog. [Thanks, Wario64!]

Here’s how the PlayStation Game Library works. If you are logged in, it will show your purchased games, played games, current downloads, PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection, and PlayStation Now games. In each instance, you can see all games or filter them by the PS4 or PS5. While you can’t see data like length of time played, it does have icons sharing which console a game is for at a glance. Clicking on a game in that list will take you to the PlayStation Store listing for it.

This PlayStation Game Library also offers download management options. Each game has a download link next to it in sections like purchased and PlayStation Plus. Clicking on that will allow you to begin a download to a system, with the PS4 offered as the only option at the moment. The downloads section lets you see which files are in the process of being acquired and lets you cancel downloads.

The PlayStation 5 will launch on November 12, 2020 in Australia, Japan, North America, and South Korea, and it will appear worldwide on November 19, 2020.
