Koei Tecmo took to Twitter on October 6, 2020 to reassure people that they will see all of Ryza when she returns this year. Essentially, the company confirmed there will be no Atelier Ryza 2 censorship outside Japan. The game released in other regions will have all the same content as the one Japan will get this December.
This all came up apparently due to concerns over footage shared during the Tokyo Game Show 2020 online events in September 2020. People noticed the Japanese trailers had “differences.” The company wanted to assure people that things “will not be censored in the West.”
Here’s the official tweet.
Message to fans
Despite the differences in Atelier Ryza 2 promotional videos recently shown at TGS, we want to assure fans that the game itself will not be censored in the West. We hope everyone is looking forward to the upcoming adventure!#AtelierRyza2 #AtelierRyza #KTfamily pic.twitter.com/ZpXWttpGxd

For reference, here is one of the Atelier Ryza 2 TGS 2020 trailers that showed up last month. It shows both new and old characters.
Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in Japan on December 3, 2020. It will arrive on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC in other regions in Winter 2020.
