When people get Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, they’re getting every bit of the original game and Miles’ adventures. But now Insomniac Games shared even more details about the original adventure on the PlayStation 5. Community Director James Stevenson took to the PlayStation Blog to explain about what people will see in the Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered PS5 version of the game, looking at gameplay, its modes, and three new suits. (The Amazing Suit is being added!)
This is a full remaster. Peter Parker looks completely different, due to Ben Jordan being his new model. (Yuri Lowenthal’s facial capture is still being used.) Buildings actually reflect Spider-Man and the things around them, thanks to ray-tracing technology. There are new models for environments and new sorts of weather will appear. The photo mode will be adjusted and include the Miles Morales changes. There will also be spacial 3D audio elements.
Lowenthal later joked on Twitter about how the recasting was all his fault.
Guys. It’s my face’s fault. The stupid stupid bones in my face. Blame my bones. https://t.co/VUES1jQLC5

In addition, a Performance Mode that offers 60fps gameplay will be available. An initial trailer showing Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on a PS5 at that frame rate was shared. It even shows off the reflective windows on buildings at the beginning.
There’s also a video showing off Peter Parker’s new model in the game.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will come to the PlayStation 5 with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, which will be available on the system when the console launches on November 12, 2020 in Australia, Japan, North America, and South Korea and on November 19, 2020 in the rest of the world.
