A new Resident Evil CGI movie is on the way, and it stars Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Resident Evil Infinite Darkness was announced via the official Netflix Portugal Twitter account. However, only a title and around fifty seconds of footage from the upcoming film were released.

This new Resident Evil CGI movie has Claire wearing an outfit that closely resembles the one seen in Resident Evil: Revelations 2. As mentioned above, no actual information has currently been disclosed. This means that it is anyone’s guess as to when this movie will take place in the Resident Evil timeline, and where.

Leon and Claire have shared the spotlight in previous Resident Evil CGI films. Most notably the first film, Resident Evil: Degeneration. The duo will be reuniting once again for Resident Evil Infinite Darkness.
In other Resident Evil related news, Resident Evil Village is currently part of Capcom’s Tokyo Game Show 2020 line up. During the most recent Tokyo Game Show 2020 broadcast, the development team announced that they were attempting to bring Village to PS4 and Xbox One. However, they made no promises on if or when this could potentially happen.
