The new key visual is illustrated by Koda, one of the artists from NieR: Automata and NieR Reincarnation. This piece of art features Kaine, Nier, Emil, and Grimoire Weiss in front of ruins. The uploaded character artwork includes new illustrations of Nier, Kaine, Grimoire Weiss, Yonah, Devola, Popola, and Emil.

The release date for NieR Replicant was announced during the “We Have a Decent Amount of New Info” Tokyo Game Show 2020 broadcast. You can expect to get your hands on this new version of NieR Replicant in April 2021. The accompanying trailer featured a look at reimagined and upscaled environments, and a brief glimpse at the new NieR Replicant character artwork posted above. Gameplay was briefly shown during the broadcast, highlighting changes to the combat system.

A White Snow Edition collector’s edition is available to pre-order worldwide. This special collector’s edition comes with the original soundtrack, a set of pins, and voice actor scripts. Pre-ordering adds a mini-soundtrack to the mix.

The NieR Replicant release will for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on April 22, 2021 in Japan and April 23, 2021 in Western regions.
