Death Come True PS4 Delayed, Has No New Release Date Yet

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The Death Come True PS4 port has been delayed. News broke via the official Death Come True Japanese Twitter account, with an English translation shortly following after it. There are no specific details explaining why this happened, beyond it having an issue that needs to be remedied.

The announcement is as follows:

Due to an issue flagged up requiring a fix after passing the SIE QA test, we are postponing the release. We offer our heartfelt apologies to everyone. We will provide an update when a new release date is confirmed.

The only major piece of information the statement regarding the delay seemed to be missing is a new release window for Death Come True on the PlayStation 4. People shouldn’t worry, though. As mentioned in the tweet, an update will be provided once a new release date has been confirmed.

Death Come True is currently available on other platforms if you simply can’t wait to get your hands on the game. In September 2020, we spoke to Kazutaka Kodaka about Death Come True and the development of this FMV style game and the challenges that accompanied it.

Death Come True is available on the Nintendo Switch, PC, and both Android and Apple iOS devices. The Death Come True  PS4 version is in development and doesn’t have a new release date yet.
