This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The Ardyn Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia global debut date is upon us. On September 24, 2020, he’ll join along Act 2 Finale, Pt. 1: The Chosen King’s Future. As this is a permanent story addition, you don’t have to worry about running out of time to recruit him. However, his Episode Ardyn costume and the in-game Autumn Festival activities are limited.

Ardyn is a sword wielder. His Command Abilities are Warp-Strike, a two-hit melee BRV attack and HP attack, Aura of Darkness, a three-hit group melee-BRV and HP attack, and Break Reset Slash, a two-hit melee BRV attack. If Ardyn has three levels of Spectral Charge, there will be a third attack for both Warp-Strike and Aura of Darkness. Ardyn’s Blade of Ruin (XV) BT weapon, Ifrit’s Sword (XV) EX weapon, and Katana of the Warrior (XV) LD weapons will be available in banners in September and October as well.

Here are the two Ardyn outfits. The standard one is the one he comes with, while the Episode Ardyn one will be sold for real cash in the Gem Shop until October 22, 2020. A price wasn’t announced, but to compare, the Noctis Costume Bundle available until October 2, 2020 is $36.99 and includes 9,000 gems and his extra costume.

As for the Autumn Festival, it’s on until November 5, 2020. There will be free daily Multi Draws both on eight banners and again between October 12-30, 2020 from 18 additional free draws. Two Autumn co-op events will be held between October 12-30, 2020 too. There will also be extra Cycle Quest and World of Illusions: Carbuncle rewards and Autumn Chocobo Panel Missions.

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. Ardyn’s Dissidia FFOO chapter and paid costume bundle will be added on September 24, 2020. Other recent additions include Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles’ Amidatelion.
