The Nintendo Switch version of the game isn’t too dissimilar from the original. A big part of the appeal is having it on a handheld device. Both Formidable and Taihou and the six supporters will be included in the base game, rather than showing up as optional DLC. You could have six shipgirls in each picture in Photo Mode here too.

Here’s the new trailer Idea Factory International shared. If it seems a little familiar, that’s because it’s the opening movie and doesn’t focus on Switch-exclusive gameplay footage. (However, you do get a closer look at this installment’s new heroines, Shimakaze and Suruga, within the first 25 seconds of the video.

The Azur Lane: Crosswave Switch English version will arrive in the west in 2021. It just launched in Japan on September 17, 2020 and is immediately available there. The Azur Lane: Crosswave PlayStation 4 and PC versions are available worldwide, with Formidable, Le Malin, Roon, Sirius, and Taihou DLC heading westward on October 5, 2020.
