Danganronpa Monokuma and Monomi Figures Will Arrive in January

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

New Danganronpa mascot figures are on the way! Unfortunately, they won’t be out this year to go along with the series’ 10th anniversary. Still, people have an opportunity to call dibs on Danganronpa Monokuma and Monomi soft vinyl figures. Pre-orders are open for each until October 21, 2020, and they’ll ship in January 2021.

The two figures are based on their Danganronpa 1•2 appearances. Each one’s arms can be moved, though the example images show them with their arms down. The Monokuma one is a little shorter than Monomi, likely due to the ears. He’s 115mm tall/4.5in tall, while Monomi is about 129mm/5in.

Here’s a closer look at the two characters.

These aren’t the only Danganronpa figures coming from Good Smile company in 2021. Earlier this year, when the series’ 10th anniversary was announced, the company revealed it would rerelease the Phat! Kyoko Kirigiri and Chiaki Nanami figures. Those will show up in May 2021. (There haven’t been any announcement yet regarding any sort of potential rerelease for the Makoto Naegi and Monokuma Nendoroids.)

Good Smile Company’s Danganronpa Monokuma and Monomi figures should begin shipping in January 2021. Also, as an aside, Siliconera is running a Donganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition contest on Twitter until September 21, 2020.
