Like its PSP brethren before it, Capcom’s Felyne-starring Monster Hunter spin-off, MonHan Nikki Poka Poka Airu Mura, is doing fantastically. The game has sold out in Japan within a week of its release, reports Japanese games blog My Game News Flash.

Major retail outlets in Japan, including Yodobashi Camera, Sofmap, Bic and others have all erected signs announcing that the game is out of stock. Meanwhile, Airu Mura’s free-to-play mobile phone cousin on Mobage Town is also pulling in an impressive number of subscribers.

Both Airu Mura games are designed to be more approachable than the mainline Monster Hunters and are vastly aesthetically customizable. Expect to see Airu Mura on this week’s Media Create sales chart.
