It’s a big day for Burn the Witch news! Tite Kubo’s Bleach spin-off is about to debut in October 2020, and a new trailer shows off more footage from the show, teases the Nil theme song, and opportunities to see supporting cast members like Balgo and Macy.[Thanks, Crunchyroll!]
Since Noel and Ninny are the main characters, they get the most screen time in this new trailer. (Though Ninny does appear more frequently.) We also see quite a bit of Dragonclad characters like Balgo (and his case file) and Macy. Noel and Ninny’s commanding officer, Billy Banx Jr., and Top of Horns members Bruno Bangnyfe and Sullivan Squire. The Nil Burn the Witch theme song “Blowing” plays over the footage.
Here’s Burn the Witch PV2.
As a reminder, Viz Media has the first four chapters of the new limited series available to read online in English. While you must join to read the March 2020 one-shot, the limited series’ four chapters are all free right now.
Burn the Witch will launch on October 2, 2020, with Crunchyroll handling the worldwide streaming debut with Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish subtitles. In addition to the spin-off anime, a new Bleach anime adaptation was announced back in March 2020and will appear in 2021.
