Assassin’s Creed China Manga Being Localized as Assassin’s Creed: Blade of Shao Jun

The Assassin’s Creed China manga, which began running in Japan in November 2019, will be heading westward. Viz Media announced it will localize the series as Assassin’s Creed: Blade of Shao Jun. The first volume will release on February 16, 2021 and cost $14.95. The volume appeared in Japan on February 19, 2020.

Minoji Kurata’s story is the manga adaptation of Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China. Like the game, it follows the assassin Shao Jun, who consulted with Ezio Auditore da Firenze in Europe before heading back to fight the Eight Tigers Templars.

1526 AD—China is ruled by the Great Ming Empire. Though the empire flourishes, the winds of the new Emperor’s political purge are sweeping over the land, and turmoil is brewing. Assassin’s Creed: Blade of Shao Jun’s first volume will appear outside Japan on February 16, 2021. The first and second volumes of the Assassin’s Creed China manga are immediately available in Japan. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
