A new Neon Genesis Evangelion soundtrack compilation will be available to listen to through subscription-based services. The Neon Genesis Evangelion New Theatrical Edition soundtrack will have over sixty-five songs on over four discs. The services offering it include Apple Music, LINE MUSIC, Spotify, AWA, KK BOX, Amazon Music Unlimited, Rec Music, GooglePlay Music, EVA-EXTRA. The first soundtrack, Evangelion Piano Forte will contain piano arrangements of popular background music. The piano track from the scene where Shinji and Kaoru play the piano together is also included in this soundtrack. Evangelion Shiro SAGISU Outtakes includes unpublished tracks from Neon Genesis Evangelion, while Rebuild of Evangelion: Part 1 and Part 2 soundtracks are composed of tracks from the Evangelion Wind Symphony.
Other Neon Genesis Evangelion music compilations include the Neon Genesis Evangelion Soundtrack 25th Anniversary Box. This limited edition set will have over forty tracks packed in a collectible case.
Neon Genesis Evangelion originally began its run in Japan in October 1995. Evangelion: Death (True)2, the edit of 1997’s Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth, appeared in 1998. The End of Evangelion appeared in 1997. The Rebuild of Evangelion films, which offer a different take on the story, began airing in Japan in 2007 with Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance and Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo appeared in 2009 and 2012.
Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 currently has no release date and has been delayed multiple times. A new scheduled release date has not yet been announced.
