Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will show up at Tokyo Game Show 2020. However, the official Square Enix Tokyo Game Show 2020 website has not specified in what capacity it will appear. The title of the broadcast does mention that it will be a “special show.” Either way, there will be a Kingdom Hearts TGS 2020 presence. The Melody of Memory broadcast will take place on September 25, 2020 at 20:15 JST/5:15am PT.
Of course, other Square Enix properties will have broadcasts at Tokyo Game Show 2020 in addition to this. The lineup will include SINoALICE, the Dragon Quest series, SaGa, Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius: War of the Visions, to name a few. Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory recently was featured in an extended trailer. This included a look at more gameplay and story scenes that will come up during the new rhythm game. Kingdom Hearts fans will be able to re-experience key moments in the series through this new installment’s songs. This information was revealed at the August 2020 Nintendo Direct Mini.
Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in North America and Europe on November 13, 2020. The game will release in Japan on November 11, 2020.
