When people head into the next Ratchet & Clank game on the PlayStation 5, they are going to have options. Insomniac Games Creative Director Marcus Smith and Lead Designer Mike Daly told Famitsu that there will be a Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart 60fps option available.
Here’s Insomniac’s tweet confirming that people will have a choice when they head into the game.

So far, we had seen Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart 30fps gameplay with a 4K resolution. That is the option both the original gameplay reveal at the June 2020 PlayStation 5 event and extended footage at gamescom Opening Night Live 2020 used. However, people who prefer it will be able to opt for 60fps gameplay at a “lower resolution.” However, Daly and Smith didn’t note what that other resolution will be yet.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will show up on the PlayStation 5 during its launch window, though we don’t know exactly what that means yet and if it will appear in 2020. However, we do know that the new Lombax heroine will be playable in this game.
