There’ll be a whole new way to experience the “Luv” on August 28, 2020. anCHOR announced the Muv-Luv Alternative manga English localization. The first volume of it will be showing up in storefronts that day, and the additional 16 volumes will show up on a monthly basis afterward.
There will be different releases available. Amazon, for example, will have a standard version of the first volume of the manga. However, anCHOR announced that the Gumroad release will have some extra features. The version there will have additional art included and be an ultra-high resolution release.
To help people prepare for this adaptation, there’s also a chance to go through its first chapter on Imgur. You can see Takeru Shirogane make his decision to fight back and meet with Yuuko Kouzuki to make Alternative VI work, then meet Meiya Mitsurugi again.
As for Muv-Luv Alternative in general, the visual novel is available on the PlayStation Vita and PC worldwide. Its Codex was released back in March 2020. There have also been teasers for the upcoming 20th anniversary anime series that is in development.
The first volume of the Muv-Luv Alternative manga will be available on Amazon and Gumroad for $10.99 on August 28, 2020.
