Them’s Fightin’ Herds Shanty Gameplay Will Appear on August 14, 2020

Avast! Better hoof it over to Mane6’s Twitch channel on August 14, 2020. That’s when there’ll be a first look at Them’s Fightin’ Herds Shanty DLC. People will be able to tune in to watch the fighting game’s seventh character in action at 3pm PT/6pm ET/9pm CET.

While Shanty is “new,” she’s not completely new. Back when Them’s Fightin’ Herds was being crowdfunded on Indiegogo, she was introduced as a $546,000 stretch goal. The game ended up clearing $586,346 there, so she was fully funded. Mane6 promised she’d appear after the PC game was released and, since that happened back in May 2020, it seems like it’s Shanty’s time to shine.

While the bulk of Shanty footage will be shown during the stream on August 14, 2020, a brief teaser is already available. Mane6 offered a 30-second spot that looked at a pirate-themed stage, showed Shanty’s official art, and also had her briefly attacking Velvet.

Them’s Fightin’ Herds is available on PCs. The Them’s Fightin’ Herds Shanty DLC doesn’t have a release date or price yet, but she will be free for people who backed the Indiegogo campaign.
